For over a decade, Design Evolutions has been making its mark in the design industry. We initially started as a home-based drafting and design company in Stone Mountain, Georgia. As business grew, we began taking on custom home design projects while developing a unique collection of affordable stock house plans to market to the general public. This effort was enhanced when we began publishing our home plans globally through several house plan broker websites. After our first year, we were selling home plans across the United States and gaining traction with home builders locally. In 2001, the business was moved to Snellville, Georgia.

Being a small firm, all of Design Evolutions homes are created by the principal. This type of hands on approach by the designer is what makes many of our clients comfortable when working with us. Each home, be it a stock plan or custom design, is approached with a unique view and thoughtful design process that reflect a basic standard of usability and make the home livable. Because of this, our designs are often praised for their functionality, use of space, and curb appeal.

Our homes are featured in some of metro Atlanta's most popular subdivisions such as Greenridge (Lithonia, GA) and Spencer's Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA). Our homes can also be found in the Carolina's, Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, and many other areas of the country reaching west to California and as far north as New York state. To date we have sold stock house plans or created custom home designs for clients in over 127 cities in 34 states. Our services and products have also reach passed our borders into Canada.

About the Home Designer

Kirya believes that a home is an extension of the family and that it should reflect their lifestyle. Kirya was born and raised in Natchez, Mississippi, a city rich in architecture and known for its more that 300 antebellum homes. He began his training in the design field in 1987 while just a sophomore in high school. In 1989, he attended Hinds Communty College briefly before enrolling at The University of Southern Mississippi in 1990 to major in Architectural Engineering. In 1995, Kirya moved to Atlanta, Georgia to start a career in Residential Design. Between the years of 1995 and 1998, he was afforded the opportunity to work with two of metro Atlanta's most successful residential design firms. Kirya performed drafting and design duties on a wide range of residential projects that included clients in the music recording industry, professional sports, and forture 500 companys. This period of time allowed him to refine and master his design skills which later lead to the successful launch of Design Evolutions Inc., GA.
